About
wdm2 is dedicated to covering all competitive Warsow scenes, as well as getting up to date information about community events from all around the world.
About the site
The first incarnation of the site was known as “Warsow – the Blog!” and was launched in the spring of 2007. The site covered various Warsow competitions, in both North America and Europe. Warsow – the Blog! also hosted a weekly duel cup known as Tuesday Night Warsow.
Warsow – the Blog! eventually merged with European-based bolted.nu to form a Warsow super-site. Eventually bolted.nu met it’s demise as well after a merger with the Team Excello website.
In January 14, 2008 longview, Warsow – the Blog!’s founder and administrator refounded Warsow – the Blog!, this time, rebranded as wdm2 (also known as unbalanced), named after the widely played Warsow duel map.
About the game
Warsow is a fast-paced free, standalone First-Person Shooter based on the Quake 2 engine. The game plays much like popular FPS titles Quake and Unreal Tournament.
Warsow’s official site is warsow.net.
